Angela Durkee
"Hello, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Business Administration and started a career in accounting. After volunteering for Junior Achievement, I realized my passion for teaching and went back to school to earn a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Wayne State University.
The first MBEA Fall Conference that I attended was in 1998 when I began teaching. During my career, I taught Keyboarding, Business Math, Marketing, Business Law, Microsoft Certification, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Web Design, and Cybersecurity. In addition, I served as the Internship Coordinator, Business Professionals of America Advisor, and CyberPatriot Coach.
I joined the MBEA board of directors in January 2024. In June 2024, I retired from Chippewa Valley Schools after teaching for 26 years.
My husband and I live on a lake and enjoy boating, traveling, and spending time with our family and friends."
